How to Dispose of a Haunted Item

HOW TO DISPOSE OF A HAUNTED ITEM.

Deuteronomy 7:25-26 states, “The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the Lord thy God. Neither shalt thou bring an  abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but  thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing.”

Remove the item from your personal living space. Take it outdoors if this is possible preferably in an open field.

Psalms used for protection against evil are

23,91 and 121 or you can derive your own specific type of prayer.

Before you handle the item. Wash your hands with consecrated water or holy water.  while incanting a protective prayer.  Anoint hands with holy consecrated olive oil to reject any kind of attachment.

You can if you wish cover the hands with rubber gloves to reduce any electromagnetic conduction. Rubber dishwashing gloves are perfect for this and are inexpensive.

Instill prayers upon and  anoint the item  with holy water or consecrated salt water or consecrated olive oil

Disassemble the item if possible. You can cut or saw it into smaller pieces if you need to. This disrupts the imprint of energy that has taken place on the item.

You may have to use an axe or saw to partition the items into smaller sections. Then pick a secluded spot where there is little to no traffic and an isolated area is best. Or a graveyard that is abandoned. Dig an appropriate hole in the ground and sanctify the space with prayer. If you are unable to bury the item choose the water method.

If throwing into a body of water bind the pieces in plain cloth that will easily degrade. Include a St Michael Medallion and or St Benedict Medallion  in the bundle

Throwing them into deep living water(waters that support life) such as a sea, river or lake. The items must be anointed and blessed prior to placing them in the water source. When placing in the water source incant your prayer of protection.

Debate over Burning an item. The goal of dismemberment or sectioning into smaller pieces is to disrupt instilled energy patterns. So that it doesn't resemble the object which has a curse or attachment.

Burning will do this however it's recommended that you gather all the ashes and then bury them.

The controversy is that if an entity is attached and bound to the item you might release it through Burning and the gaseous escape from the item.

Since burial still has to be done I recommend just disassembly and burying the remains.

If you are unable to disassemble the object you can anoint and bless the item and bury covering it with consecrated salt, pouring consecrated olive oil over the item and placing a St Michael medallion and or St. Benedict medallion on the top of the item. Peel the gloves off over the hole inside out without touching the outside and leave them in the hole with the item. Cover with soil and never return to the spot.
